The Stone-Age Brain Meets The Disinformation Age

We all like to think we’re rational and logical, but the truth is that our brains are riddled with cognitive biases and shortcuts that can lead us astray. The Atheist Community of San Jose is hosting a talk by Bertha Vazquez about how our cognitive biases make us vulnerable to misinformation and disinformation, and how we can overcome these shortcomings.
This free event will take place at the Campbell Community Center in the Mary Campbell Room (Q84, next to the Heritage Theater) at 3:30pm on Sunday, November 10th. More information, including a signup link, is on the group’s Meetup page.
